Boaz Samorai
Iron lens
A collection of images from the camera lens of a nature photographer who became an operational documentarian in the Iron Sword War

The Iron Swords War took Boaz Samorai, a nature photographer, 45 years old at the time, married and father of two sons and a daughter, a resident of the city of Eilat, into long reserve service, which began with the difficult scenes in the Gaza sournding kibuts after the October 7th atrocities, through securing the affected settlements and up to fighting in the long maneuver in the Gaza Strip.
"I finished covering the body and saw the rolling showes that were left next to it. At this point, I decided to start documenting what my eyes saw around me through my camera lens. The importance of conveying this horrible reality out to the world is imperative."
